This is what the boat will look like....(I hope) ..Pygmy Boat Design

8/10/07 Purchased the plans, had them expressed to me

8/11/07 bought cheap wood to make full size patterns

8/15/07 Completed drawing out patterns full size on wood

8/17/07 cut out patterns.

8/18/07 Bought 6 sheets of Okoume BS-1088 4mm plywood (cost $55.00 per sheet...yuck)

8/21/07 Cut out all the panels in the Okoume.  I used the patterns and my router in a router table to cut out the patterns very accurately

8/23/07 Glued the panels up full size, and started to stitch the panels together

8/25/07  okay time to sit back and think, i cut one of the panels to short, and another panel to long...the too long one i can fix...i can fix the short one also, but i am disappointed.. :-(

8/31/07 I haven the hull wired together, and began filling in the seems with thickened epoxy....now just waiting for it to dry.

9/6/07: Turned the hull over, and began glueing up the Deck.  I hope to attach it this weekend.  Also, i have not cut out the cockpit yet.

9/7/07: Glued up deck (drying on floor), My wife is not happy about the mess i make on the floor, also all the dust that gets into everything......did i say everything!!

9/10/07 Started the deck, i cut one side out wrong, so i had to cut out a new part, and glue it up.  i got three panels wired on the deck, and hopefully tomorrow, i will have the last piece of the top wired in. (see below) it kind of looks funny now cause i have not cut out the cockpits yet.
