January 5, 2007: Ordered Whitehall Boat Plans and Patterns From Glen-l Marine. Now I am just waiting for them to arrive.

Design as shown on the Glen-L website.

3 D Version of the Whitehall.
January 8, 2007 : Boat plans arrived !!!!!!
January 9, 2007 : I went to home depot and bought MDX wood for the molds.
January 13, 2007 : Spent all afternoon transfering the patterns to the MDX. The giant sheets of patterns were a little difficult to work with , but i got 6 forms cut out, along with the double stem. I have three more patterns to transfer, then saw out. things are moving right along. I did not realize how scarce carbon paper is, i had to go to 3 - 4 stores before i finally found some. then the carbon paper i found was a bit old, and there were only two packs left on the shelf.
January 16, 2007 : Finished transfering and cutting out the last 3 frames. Now i have to construct the building Jig. I hope to get this done this weekend.
January 21, 2007 : Well I started to construct the building jig, this is a bigger job then i thought and requires alot of precision. I realized this is going to take up alot of my garage.
May 10, 2007 : Took some time off, but i up and running now, finished building the jig. This was fun...in a weird kind of way.
May 15, 2007 : Building with cedar, ripped 2" x 8" board to 1/8" strips, and began building up the Stem, and Breasthook, and transom Knee. Once the strips setup, i took the stem off, and it stayed...it looks soo cool, i had to show everybody. lol. Also i had to buy more C-clamps....they say you can never have enough, i am really begining to believe this.
